This message appears when your IPTV set-top box requires a firmware update. Follow these steps to update it:

Check for updates in the settings – Go to the Settings menu on your STB, look for the Software/ Firmware Update option, and follow the on-screen instructions.

Restart your device – Sometimes, a simple restart may prompt the box to check for updates automatically.

Ensure a stable internet connection A poor internet connection may prevent the update. Try connecting via Ethernet for a more stable update process.

If your IPTV set-top box has no sound, follow these steps to fix it:

Check volume levels – Make sure that the sound is not muted on both your TV and the IPTV box.

Inspect the HDMI cable Try reconnecting or replacing the HDMI cable to rule out a faulty connection.

Installation of third-party applications directly on Linux-based set-top boxes is not supported. Users can access external applications only through the portals provided by the IPTV service provider. These portals are integrated with the service and allow access to specific IPTV apps or content.

This message appears in two cases:

1. No internet connection to the box
  • Ensure the box is connected to the internet. You can check this by going to the internal portal in the browser and trying to enter a search query.
2. The portal at the entered URL is unavailable

If you see this message, follow these steps to fix it:

Scenario 1: Adjust Time Zone Settings

1. Press the Home button and go to Settings > Localization.

2. Adjust the Time Zone & City based on your country.

  • If your country is not listed, select the nearest country with the same time zone.

3. Press Home > Go to Settings > Select Reboot.

4. The issue should be resolved. If the message still appears, proceed to Scenario 2.

Scenario 2: Reset NTP Server Settings

1. Press Home > Go to Settings > Open Inner Portal (2nd last option).

2. On the next screen, navigate to Settings > System Settings > Servers > General.

3. In the General NTP Server field:

  • Press the keyboard button on the remote.
  • Delete pool.ntp.org using the backspace button.
  • Leave the NTP server field blank, press the keyboard button again, and select OK.
  • A message "Successfully Saved" will appear.

4. (Optional Step) Press Home > Go to Portals and check if the Current URL is updated.

5. Press Home > Go to System Settings > Select Restart Portal > Press OK to confirm.

  • The device will reboot and channels should load.

Ensure that you are not using the “Sort” option that is set to Favorites only. To view all channels, set the sorting option to "By Number" in the channel list.

If your IPTV set top box is randomly turning on or off, follow these troubleshooting steps to fix it:

Step 1: Adjust Video Settings
  • 1. Go to System Settings > Video.
  • 2. Set the Video Output Mode to your preferred resolution (Auto / 1080i60 / 1080p50 / 720P / NTSC).
  • 3. Set the desired value of Graphic Resolution same as Video Output Mode.
  • 4. Set Auto Frame Rate to Disabled.
  • 5. Set Force DVI to OFF.
  • 6. Set HDMI Event to IGNORE.
  • 7. Save the settings by clicking OK.
  • 8. Once confirmed, the set top box will automatically reboot.

If it doesn’t, go to Restart Portal in Settings, press OK, and the device will reload with the new video settings.

Step 2: Disable Screensaver

1. After the set top box turns on, go to Settings > Inner Portal > Interface > Screensaver.

2. Set the Screensaver to Disabled.

Step 3: Disable HDMI CEC

1. Go to System Settings > Advanced Settings > HDMI CEC.

2. Set HDMI CEC to Disabled.

3. Save the settings and Restart Portal.

This should prevent your box from turning on or off automatically.
